What inspires you?

It brings joy to my eyes when I can help raise awareness and educate people on hiv/aids. This really gives me more inspiration and motivation to do more and push harder. My passion is also for media, mainly because it feels good to search for news, write a story and share it with the world. Especially when people can come to me and say, I love what you did. That pushes me to do more.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

I became a volunteer with an organization a couple of years ago and through the organization, I was able to visit schools and countries to just educate people about hiv/aids. This really piqued my interests because, people need to know about it. Later on, I became a peer educator, where I would talk to youths that are my age, and also hear what they have to say.

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

A good leader is one who can actually listen to what people have to say. Apart from that when that person can help make a positive difference, within a country or the world at large. I like to say leaders are born not made.

I have just started with TakingITGlobal, and I found this site while searching the internet. I am currently on a journey to raise awareness and educate people on the topic of hiv/aids. TIG is place where young people can be able to make that difference, so I believe TIG that help me achieve my goal.
