\par In Italy, the Bossi-Fini law is applied even more strictly in light of new anti-terrorism measures. The lives of migrants are affected daily by new restrictive administrative measures on housing and labour rights.

\par Despite these repressive conditions, recent years have seen thousands of men and women, migrants and anti-racism activists mobilised for migrants rights: for the
closure of all detention centres; against all penal measures affecting freedom of movement and the right to stay; for an amnesty for all undocumented migrants.
