TakingITGlobal takes steps to help strengthen collaboration within the international youth movement through our strategic partnership with the Global Youth Action Network (GYAN). GYAN is an international collaboration among youth and youth-serving organizations to share information, resources and solutions. Its purpose is to promote greater youth engagement. GYAN works to facilitate youth participation and intergenerational partnership in global decision-making, support collaboration among diverse youth organizations, and to provide tools, resources, and recognition for positive youth action.
In addition, TakingITGlobal contributes to the global civil society movement by participating in a number of membership organizations. We rountinely share knowledge and collaborate with these organizations, each of whom play an important role in supporting the efforts of non-profit organizations all over the world.
- CIVICUS - CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation is an international alliance of members and partners which constitute an influential network of organisations at the local, national, regional and international levels, and span the spectrum of civil society.
- Global Knowledge Partnership - Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP) is the world's first multi-stakeholder network promoting innovation and advancement in Knowledge and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for Development. GKP brings together Public Sector, Private Sector and Civil Society organisations with the goal of Sharing Knowledge and Building Partnerships in Knowledge and ICT for Development.
- Ontario Council for International Cooperation - The Ontario Council for International Cooperation (OCIC) is an expanding community of Ontario-based international development and global education organizations and individual associate members working globally for social justice. As a Council, OCIC strives to increase the effectiveness and collective impact of all our members' efforts to promote sustainable, people-centred development in a peaceful and healthy environment.
- NTEN - NTEN is a membership organization of nonprofit professionals who put technology to use for their causes. NTEN is a community of peers who share technology solutions across the sector and support each other's work. NTEN enable members to embrace advances in technology through knowledge sharing, trainings, research and industry analysis.
- EAI - EAI (European Alliance for Innovation) is a grassroots organisation initiated through cooperation between public, private and government organisations. EAI bridges the gaps between the market, research and regulation bringing together key players from every discipline within the ICT innovation cycle.
