Co-branding

For those with existing web sites, wanting to integrate some of the tools available on TakingITGlobal.org into their own sites, co-branding is often a more affordable solution than building tools from scratch, and a perfect way to leverage TakingITGlobal's existing content. You can use sophisticated online community tools for member engagement without the responsibilities of ongoing technical maintenance. Organizations that aim to create an internet-based, issue-specific community of practice prefer this option as a low cost, user-friendly means of online engagement.

 
Co-branded Community Development

We work with partner organizations to facilitate customized development of a co-branded, issue-based site hosted within TakingITGlobal.org. This thematic section provides organizations with a coveted and valuable awareness raising and outreach opportunity among youth. Generally, partners provide the majority of web site content around the focus issue for integration directly into the TakingITGlobal.org sub-site. These issue-based sites automatically receive promotion within our Online Community.

 
Custom Community Development

Partners also have the option to receive an entirely customized and branded online community. The creation of these online communities is comprehensive of web site construction, online community functionality customization and web design to specification. This is most appropriate for online community portals intended for long-term use, as it involves the greatest level of customization, while maintaining unique organizational branding. Partners will be provided with a highly user-friendly content management system (CMS) to facilitate convenient, in-house updating of web site text by the organization's own staff. Training on the use of the CMS is provided for those staff members designated by the partner organization.
